The majority of intercoms for private houses are 1 or 2 button.

Although private sector intercoms for apartment blocks tend to be audio, luxury flats demand video with access controls. 

Digital call panels are a compact alternative to panels full of buttons. Our 2200 and 2300 systems provide simplified bus wiring for large buildings.

Modular residential sets

One and two button modular panels are our most popular product for private houses. Wiring is more critical with video systems, but 100m is acheivable with quality cable.

The panel above is in the 4000 series silver frame option. There is a gold option as well.

A codelock is a useful option for villas with electric gates to let in delivery drivers, friends and family. The panel examples show a codelock and fob access.

There are several monitor options, but it is important to check compatibility with the the panel wiring system.

IP intercoms

IP intercoms use internet protocol streaming to send speech and video signals. The panel and monitor are connected by Cat5 to the home router, though only 2 pairs are used.

A smartphone can also take calls from the panel via the cloud.  The phone needs the Videx app. There is also a Videx IP wizard to help set up the system. 

The Videx CloudNected Client app enables users to manage their IP video calls remotely via their own mobile phone so they can answer calls from wherever they are, whether that’s from home, the workplace or even on holiday. With this app, users can completely manage entry via from their mobile device, creating the most convenient administration tool.

Apartment block solutions

Digital call panels are available for audio, video or GSM systems as a compact solution for large apartment blocks.

An LCD screen displays the resident's information, such as name or flat number on a scrolling display. When the details are correct, press the call button.

A full keypad can be used to select the flat number, or to enter an access code. 

There is a panel available for double height 4000 series modular panels, flush or surface. The VR120 series have a vandal resistant panel for their flush box.
